So I I'm going to get my marriage license this weekend, and I'm really excited, but it's gonna be a lot of traveling back and forth in the car. And that is what I'm not excited for. But however, I have off on Friday for all of this, and I took I picked up a shift today. Uh so last night I was getting ready, was getting ready to go to bed, and I was like, oh, I'm gonna I I don't have to go into work until one. So I was like, okay, I'm gonna get up early, I'm gonna go to the gym, I'm gonna uh do this thing, I'm gonna do all the things, and then go to work, and then I'm gonna get off early and speak with the pastor for the wedding stuff, and then go give a dog insulin and then come home and record a podcast with Adobe. Hi. Hi. I woke up at 11 o'clock. Oh um, I did one thing. Uh and I went to work and work was kind of uneventful today. I gave a dog insulin after work, after driving for an hour in traffic. And now I'm here. Here we are. Here we are recording episode 28.

Sure. So what we're gonna do today is I have some uh music clips that I have taken from our audio software that we use. Um, and there's songs. Some of them are you know 10 to 30 seconds. I'm not sure if we'll get to all of them today, but what I wanted to do is because music has a pretty big impact in the fandom. Some people use it in an artistic sense, some people use it in a visual sense with like um like animations or video vlogs. Some people use it in an emotional sense. There's a lot of connections that people have with music, and a lot of that is heavy in the fandom. I love music. So, what I wanted to do is we'll listen to some of these audio clips, and I have a couple questions we can ask ourselves while we're listening to it that we can just discuss after. Pretty casual episode, kind of fun. No drama, no stress. Everything sucks right now, so I kind of need just to have a little bit of downtime. I'm gonna make sure this sucks for you. Um, so so what we'll go through is uh some of the questions that I have here on my list that we can um ask ourselves or discuss after we listen to each piece. I want to go over kind of how each piece makes us feel. If you were at a con, what scene does that music piece uh set for you? Where do you visualize yourself or an event or thing at the con? Okay, okay, I see where this is going. If the music brings up any memories, any furry-related memories for you, discuss that. And then at the end of our discussion for each music track, what kind of persona or species or type of anthro character would this be like a theme song for? But okay. I absolutely feel that way. It's like there's I don't want to say it's inspirational, but it kind of puts you in a mood that's ready for something more. It's it's like it's like a good getting ready for the day song. Absolutely. And so like if we were at a con, set the scene, what if this was on, where what would where would you be or what would be happening if that played?

All right. If I was it if uh specifically like anthrocon, I'm thinking, I'm thinking of anthrocon walking down the the the long ass side or um pathway with the waterfalls. Yes, when they're actually on. When they're actually on walking to the party at the waterfront. Yes, no, that's a good one. And like I'm I'm thinking I'm thinking of this in like in like a cinematic shot. Yeah, it's like a cinematic aspect, like good shot of like a bunch of first shooters walking down the pathway, or just first shooters in general, in the beginning of it, and as the music starts to crescendo and build, you start getting some shots of people walking down that pathway. And as the music crescent like reaches its peak, it's everybody dancing and having a good time and partying, and you know.

No, I'm I'm right there with you, dude. I where my mind went is a very similar um idea. For me, and I'm happy you said Anthrocon, because that's where my mind was with this, and that's where our experience is too. But for me, it was when you drive on the highway getting to Anthrocon, and you finally get a full view of the city or driving in the city, and that's kind of where the crescendo for me shows a cinematic shot of the city and like the David L. Lawrence convention center specifically. That's where my mind was with that. So similar setup, just different scene, I guess. But okay. Okay, so with that being said, if this song was a theme song for an anthro character or persona, what kind of like species? We can talk about color, species, doesn't matter. Um, but what kind of persona would this song? I'm listening, I'm I'm re-listening to it as as we speak, huh? I see like comp like not like cocky, but like a like a confident, joyful species. So we can kind of go to like our stereotypes. I'd I I see maybe some kind of dog character in like a nice, casual, fun, ready-to-go fit.

So like I feel like it would be like, let's say the maker showing like the the foam bass or whatever bass they use, and then like some little clips here and there of or like some b-roll of like uh them sewing or gluing stuff onto the base, yeah. Yep, adding stuff to the base, and then as the song crescendos and finally peaks, it'll show like the reveal of the suit. And I've I think it would be like some sort of canine suit.
